Is divorce in Canada valid in Egypt?

Hi,
My sister got her Canadian divorce about a year ago and she filed for divorce in Egypt as well but for some reason lawyers are complicating the divorce there. Is there any agreement between Canada and Egypt that validates her canadian divorce in Egypt?
