Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and questions with us.

You can find some helpful information in our Settlement.Org I am pregnant and don't have OHIP. What health care can I get? and How much does it cost to get care from a midwife? articles.

If you require a doctor or hospital services, you will have to pay for these until you meet the 3 month waiting period. Unfortunately, it is not likely you will be refunded later.

You can find some helpful information in this previous Settlement.Org Giving Birth in Ontario - How much does it cost? discussion thread.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
