Green Card Holder with Residence in Canada and USA

I am a Canadian citizen who is a green card holder working and living in the USA. I am transitioning to work part time. Is it possible to have a Canadian residence and live there for 8 Months a year and regard that as my permanent residence and have OHIP but then also have a US property/residence and live and work in the USA off and on several times during the year and thus maintain a US green card? I recognize the dual tax filing.

According to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care website regarding eligibility and residence it states,
-you make your primary place of residence in Ontario; and generally,
-you are in Ontario for at least 153 days of the first 183 days immediately following the date you establish residence in Ontario (you cannot be absent for more than 30 days during the first 6 months of residence); and
-you are in Ontario for at least 153 days in any 12-month period.
