Sponsorship - Criminal Record Issues?

Hello, I m very much new in this sites , still don't know how to use it , but I have a question ..
I got married last 3 month ago with native canadian I'm a forenor worker here so my husband going to sponsore me but my husband got criminal record for smoking Marijuana with oil so it will effect to my sponsorship ?
Could some one assist me plzz. Regards

Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to provide a definitive response regarding your sponsorship.
It is best if you or your husband contact the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) Call Centre directly for some additional information specific to your situation.
It is possible to get through. Many of our users have stated that they have had success getting through by calling right at 8am when the lines open.
