Citizenship
1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 13, 2014.

2. We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 13, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

3. We started processing your application on March 25, 2014.

How long I should wait for my citizenship test date letter..?

Please Advise

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your timeline and question with us.

From what we have seen from other users' timelines, it can take up to 8 months from the start of the processing of the application to the receipt of notice for the test.

According to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website, it can take up to 24 months to finalize routine applications and up to 36 months for non-routine applications.

We hope that others can share their timelines with you so that you can compare your own with them.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.

hi,
I have applied for the citizenship one month after you(march 2014) and received a letter exactly as you (started process on May 02).
can you please inform when you get a letter for the test so I can estimate mine.
Thanks
