How can I Renew my PR after Studying Abroad?

Hii..
I m a medical graduate ..
I ve completed mbbs degree in India .
Due to tat I m inable to meet t residency requirements .
I got PR in 2010.
I ve stayed in Canada only for 85 days as of April 2015.
After completing mbbs I ve come 2 live wit my family in Canada now .
My PR expires in jan 2016.
So wat r the chances of my PR renewal .
Can I apply on humanitarian basis as my family lives here ?
I was told initially so .
Bt recently t immigration officers in Calgary told tat I wud b difficult ..
kindly share f u have any idea regarding this .

Based on the information you have provided, you don't have any humanitarian & compassionate reasons that would be accepted by CIC. Studying outside of Canada is not an accepted reason and unfortunately having family in Canada will not help.
However since you are already in Canada, what you should do now is remain in Canada (without leaving for even one day) until you have lived in Canada for 2 years straight. You can then apply to renew your PR card since you will have met the residency requirement.
