I first landed in Canada in 2007 but I left the country for emergencies and unfortunately my PR card got expired abroad so I went through a process and got a travel documents and got a visa then re_entered the country in 2014
but I need to stay physically 2 years to renew my PR card
SO,

MY QUESTION IS when should I apply for citizenship?

I mean should I apply 4 years after PR card renewal OR 4 years after entering the country.

I HOPE ANYONE CAN HELP ME WITH THAT ..THANX

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

It is best if you use the Residence Calculator in order to get some helpful information regarding when you would be eligible to apply for citizenship.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.

Four years from the date you arrive in Canada provided you don't leave the country for even one day during those four years.
