Hello,

I have been seperated and had legal custody to two children for over 10 years, have tried to initiate divorce many times but it never went through.

Am a permanent resident in the uSA but a Canadian citizen, as are the children.

My ex owes over 10 years of child support have yet to collect as he is hard to find.

Here in the USA was told I could file but would be hard to get him served, in Canada told I had to be living there for at least a year.

We visit every year but have not resided there in many years.

Also told it does not matter as long as he is residing there at least a year.

I have the forms for both the USA and Canada.

Which way do I go from here?

Thank you!
