Rent Geared to Income Co-Op Housing

I am a Canadian citizen, presently on disability, which will start the first payments next month. I live in a Coop which charges 30% on your total income. (Rent geared to Income.) Will the 30% be deducted off of the Gross amount, or the Net?

It will be 30% of your gross income.
