Hello,
Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.
You have indicated that you are in North Bay.
You can find some information regarding Ontario Works on the Ministry of Community and Social Service website in the Ontario Works section.
In order to apply you can apply online using the Online Application for Social Assistance or by phone or in person at your local Ontario Works office.
Here is an excerpt from the Ministry of Community and Social Service website,
Once you’ve started the process, an Ontario Works caseworker will contact you to schedule an in-person meeting.
You will be asked to bring specific documents to the meeting, so that the caseworker can verify:
-your personal information
-information about members of your household
-your household’s financial needs
-your household’s income and assets
