How can I get an Ontario Driver's Licence?

Hi,
I just got a work permit for canada for 2 years and my job requires a g licence.
How do i go about doing this?
I have an international drivers licence and a trinidad drivers licence for 6years.
What do i have to do to get the g licence?

As a temporary resident, such as a foreign student or foreign worker, you might be considered a resident and need to get an Ontario driver's licence. It is best to contact the Ministry of Transportation for more information about your situation.
The Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) is the government department that controls driver's licences and vehicle registration in Ontario. Call the MTO for information specific to your situation.
