Since I moved in August 2015 I have had my apt treated 4 X for cockroach infestation and they are still present.

I am seriously concerned.

What can I do about this?

What options do I have?

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

We can appreciate that you would be very concerned about this situation. We are sorry to hear that you are still dealing with this situation.

It is true that these type of situations can be quite distressing.

According to the Community Legal Education Ontario (CLEO)- Maintenances and Repairs Guide ,

"Cockroaches, mice, or other pests

If you have a problem with cockroaches, bedbugs, mice, or other pests, your landlord must take steps to get rid of them and to stop them from getting in."

We suggest that it is best if you contact the nearest Community Legal Clinic for some additional information and advice regarding your situation.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
