My question is in regards to conversion of a rental building from a smoking allowed to a non smoking building. Would the tenants that currently reside in said building not be "grandfathered" if they smoke in their own units but any new tenant would have to comply with the new designation? Can that particular tenant be forced to vacate said premise if he/she - being addicted to nicotine - can not quit their habit immediately?
