Do I have to apply for the Child Tax Benefit?

I was refuge and also on welfare and was collecting the transitional child benefit for my kids
.Now we are permanent residents still on welfare and didnt get the TCB for this month and my worker has not replied my calls or explained to me.what do i do?
Do I have to apply for the tax child benefit or do i have to wait for my worker?

You may want to continue to try and contact your Ontario Works Caseworker and see what she suggests regarding the process.
You may also be able to find some information by contacting the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) directly at the Child and Family Benefits Enquiries line.
