Pregnant - New Immigrant

My wife is a newly landed immigrant (I am a Canadian citizen who just moved back with my wife and 2 kids).
Just found out my wife is pregnant now and we have to wait 90 days to get the OHIP back.
How should we deal with the pregnancy medical checkups etc?
