I don't have the electrician experience and would like to apply for training courses. However, I have difficulty to find out the right training agency.

Most of colleges only provide training course to those already have sponsors, which seems not fit to my training needs.

Could you kindly advice where I can find Electrician training course for a fresh beginner?

I am in Oakville.

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

We can appreciate that you would be interested in this type of information.

You can find some helpful information regarding what steps to take on the Electrical Contractors Association of Ontario website in the Become an Electrician section.

To apply to become an electrical apprentice you may want to contact the Local Apprenticeship Committees in your area.

You may also want to contact the nearest Employment Service for some information regarding any other options as well.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
