Hi! I'm here in Canada as a Caregiver and I'm about to apply for PR under the new caregiver pathway, caring for children class. I have one dependent which is my spouse. My spouse has a child from his previous marriage, the child will be 19 by the time I submit my application. I understand that my spouse needs to declare his child in the forms that he needs to complete but I'm confused if his child needs to complete the forms for dependents and do the upfront medical as well. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

1. Under the present rules, if the child will be 19 when you submit the application, s/he is no longer a dependent child, can't be included in the application, and is only shown on your spouse's IMM 5406.
