Hi,

I migrated to Canada in May 2017 and was told that I will be getting my PR card mailed to me at the address I mentioned there.
However after 2 months I received an Email saying the pictures need to be resent because they do not meet criteria.

We sent them immediately and it is around 7 weeks already and we still have no news about our PR cards.
Me and my husband need to travel soon and this is troubling us a lot.

Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

We can appreciate that you would be interested in this information and that you would be concerned about the whereabouts of your PR card.

It is best that you contact the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Call Centre directly to see if they have any information related to this process.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.

Hi there,

I passed similar experience to yours, I learned from it that processing time shown is "working days" NOT calendar days, and usually is accurate when you calculate it as working days.

If you are traveling, there is a form that you can fill online and the authority will reply back to you within few days.

My experience with the call center is not so great.

Good luck.
