Still Have Not Received PR Card - Options?

Hi,
I had confirmation of permanent residency and moved into the country August 15th, 2017.
I received an email that I had to re-submit photos for my file.
I sent those pictures in on Oct 19th, 2017.
I have not heard anything about it since.
I feel frusturated because I simply want to know if my PR card has been sent and lost, or not sent yet, or if thry didn't receive the photos...the website and help line have not provided me any help.
Thus I am hoping you can lead me in the right direction or give me a phone number so I can figure out whats going on.
And as far as I understand I am not encouraged to leave the country without my PR card- will my confirmation of permanent residenct be okay to travel with?

You may want to try and contact the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Call Centre to see if they have any information regarding the processing times.
In terms of leaving Canada, you can find some helpful information in this I need to leave Canada and I do not have a permanent resident card. Can I later return to Canada without a PR card? question on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada Help Centre section.

I have the same situation, I sent my new photos but have not heard any updates from IRCC. I am now in Saudi Arabia and I do not know how I could get back without my PR card.

I need to travel back to India at the end of April and haven't received my PR card. I realise to re-enter Canada I will need to have my PR card or a PRTD. However if my PR card arrives after I leave I can get it sent over to India(provisions done) but don't know how long it will take to arrive. I need to bring my family back to Canada for first landing before end of June.
I have been calling the customer care for CIC but have no been able to get through to any agents as yet to know about the status. The online tools that they have do not seem to match my information with their records.
Do I need to apply for a PRTD? and does that happen from India or here in Canada? How long does it take? Will that be in time for me to return with my family before end of June?

Hi,
I and my family got our conformation for PR on 26th Dec but only my son receivdc his PR card,myself and my husband have not received our PR card.I tried filling in the IRCC form but havent got any reply.We are worried as we havent got any mail regarding photo retake or any other information.We are now in the UAE.Please advise.Thank you
