Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen and my husband is a Canadian PR card holder.

We had to move back to his home country of Germany and I am wondering if any authorities need to be notified that we have moved together.

He would like to maintain his PR card as we plan to move back to Canada eventually.

1. Not required to inform anyone in Immigration.
2. As long as he is accompanying a Canadian citizen he preserves his PR status.
