Good day.

We came in on a late flight on Sunday and the department, which I assume does the PR Cards, was closed.

I am trying to identify if I can go somewhere whilst still in Toronto to do the photos and application for the PR Cards?

We will be leaving real soon and would prefer to do it whilst in country..

Please could you advise where the best office is to visit and apply or ifthe online method is the only option open now?
Thank you
Mark

Hello Mark,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

We can appreciate that you would be concerned about this situation.

Generally, all newly arriving immigrants will receive the PR Card as part of the immigration process.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will mail your PR Card to you, after the information and photograph on your Confirmation of Permanent Residence document is confirmed by a IRCC official when you arrive in Canada.

If this did not take place, you may want to contact the IRCC Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100 as soon as possible to find out what your next steps area.

If you did not provide your mailing address to IRCC at the point of entry, do so as soon as possible. You can update your address online or you can contact the IRCC Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
