How to apply, processing time, if you're outside of Canada...

hi,
I have submitted a PR card renewal application. I check online it said it will takes 112 days to process, my questions is how do I knew they received my application?
will they mail me that they received it?
I try to check online but I can't link my application, so i want to know how many days does it take to be able to check processing status online after i submit the application??

The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website states that,
If your application is not available through your online account, use the Check application status tool or check application processing times.

I have same issue now.
I sent my application on Sep and can't check my status yet.
I was wondering if cic is going to send me an email once they start the process...?
Did you get an email from them?

1. No, IRCC won't send you an email.
2. The PR card won't show up on Ecas until it is printed, (usually) and then it is mailed out.
3. Go with the published processing time and add a week/10 days for mailing (when the Post office isn't on strike)
