Hello everyone,

One week ago, IRCC sent us the PPR, and since we had new born we have to tell IRCC with a proof of birth (birth certificate).

Service Ontario will take 6-8 weeks to register the new born and 15 days to issue the birth certificate.

Since we have only 3 weeks left to send the passports along with the photo, we got a proof of live birth from the hospital.

Would be be enough to IRCC ?

Thank you

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

We can appreciate that you would be concerned about this situation.

It is best that you try to contact the
IRCC Call Centre to speak to a representative for some additional information. It is possible to get through. You may have to just keep trying. Some have found that if they phone right at 8 am when the lines open it is easier to get through.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
