International Spouse and Child Support

Hello,
I'm wondering how child/spousal support will work for a spouse that is not from Canada.
My husband is British and I am Canadian.
We were married in Canada and had a child here as well. He is in the British military working here with them so only here for years on visitors visas.
We are separating and he has threatened to disappear back to Europe and not give me a dime, saying there's no way for me to enforce anything since he is not Canadian and won't be here.
Is there any way about getting either child or spousal support?

Hi,
can i get maternal benefits if E.I. has not deducted from my salary? or for the House-wifes?
