Hi,
I am an employee of an Indian Company and working for a Canadian Client Here.

I came to Canada with Valid Closed Work Permit and got a PR recently.

Still, My employment belongs to Indian Entity of Canadian company,

They are requesting me to serve 12 weeks notice period rather than 2 weeks standard Canadian notice period.

There was a contract signed before I came to Canada where it is mentioned that the notice period is 90 days.

Heard that those kind of contracts are illegal in some of the provinces.

I need some help regarding understand that and also what are my options to serve only 2 weeks.

I may lose this new Job if I am not able to join within 2 weeks.
Thanks
Ra
