Topic: Entering Canada Without Cancelling Resident Status

I am in Toronto as a PR from June 2015. I am an Indian and was working in one of the GCC country. I did not resign officially and hence did not cancel my resident visa, it will expire in Feb 2016.

Now I do not want to return to Gulf and want to continue in Canada to become a citizen.

Will it cause any problem while I apply for PR card Renewal or apply for citizenship.???

When, CIC rewiew my travel history, will they ask for entry/exit proof ???
