I have just married and I stayed with my wife for just one month as i had to come back to Canada. 1) am I eligible to apply ? or I have to wait until completing 730 days to be able to apply? 2) can my wife apply for the immigration without causing a problem to me? 3) can I restart the immigration from the beginin again? 4) Or I have to choose to loose Canada or to loose my wife? Please I need your advise as I'm in a very hard situation please help me to find a solution

PR Status - Only Allowed To Stay Abroad 6 Months?
ForumUser
|
Hi,
I want to ask about my permanent resident card.
I already received my PR card last January 2018 and I wish to travel outside canada for about 9 months in a row. Do I still need to notify the immigration about it? Do I need to file a permit in order to stay for more than 6 months outside Canada?
Because before the rule is if you're a permanent resident in Canada you only have 6 months most to stay outside Canada.
So, I'm also asking if this law is still applicable today? |

Can my Son get Canadian Citizenship?
ForumUser
|
Hello
My father was born in Canada in 1947. Immigrated outside if canada when I was born (1973), He issued me with a Canadian citizenship. My eldest daughter was born in 2005 I made a request for citizenship for her and was easily accepted.
I was really upset that the Canadians laws were changed on 4.2009 and according to the embassy in my country, I cant submit a request that the law is different and my son is not entitled to citizenship unless he lives in Canada for several years. Some important questions:
1) Is it possible to get citizenship through the grandfather ? (my father?) My father, who was born in Canada, could he fulfill a request for a grandchild?
2) I got a Canadian citizenship (outside of Canada) many years before my son was born, when he was born i was already a Canadian citizen... maybe that can help...
3) Is there another way, perhaps to argue that it is problematic for a father and daughter to have a citizenship and my son (the same family) without citizenship??
4) Maybe a sponsor? In my understanding, sponsorship still requires him to travel for a few years in Canada.
I would be happy to help you if there is any way to prevent "discrimination"
My son vs daughter ??
Thanks in advance |

Can my landlord ask for rent early?
ForumUser

I would like to know if it is legal for the landlord to insist on paying rent 3 or 4 days prior to the first of the month. I have told them my rent is payed with my pension which is deposited on the first. I have never missed a payment but they continue to harass me. They say its because it takes 3 to 5 days for them to get the money. Can they evict me just because of this. |
