Greetings,
I will soon be moving to Toronto as a permanent resident and I will continue working for my employer in Portugal remotely from Canada.
I would like to have some advice regarding what would be the best solution for me, regarding payment and taxes.
I know I can have the option to continue getting my wage and making my taxes in Portugal, and try later a tax exemption in Canada (regarding tax treaties between Portugal and Canada).
On the other end, I don't know if I should find a solution that would allow me to work like a permanent employee with benefits in Canada.
Can I have more specific information that can help me find the best solution for my situation?
