Injustice from MTO - Where do we complain?

Hi All,

I am new migrant landed in Toronto, Canada with my young family on 04/11/2009.

I managed to found contract job in my field and working since 06/15/2009.

My wife has also started admin job from 11/09/2009.

We both hold driving licence of New Zealand.

We both have G1 licence of Ontario and due to drive expenrience, we are required to appear for G2 exit test to get G license of Ontario.

Drivetest is on strike since long and nobody knows (including MTO) when they will be off strike.

Everybody knows being new migrants how difficult it is to find job in Canada.

So we had concentrated our efforts on finding suitable jobs pending to get full driving licence of Ontario.

I thought that let settle and find job before winter starts.

We both are eagerly waiting Drivetest to off strike so we can appear for G2 exist test.

our real problem is that I am commuting 3 hrs everyday for job and winter is fast approaching.

Since I have to walk and change transport frequently during commuting to job, it would be difficult for me continue job in winter.

My wife found job which require commuting during late evening as also require frequent walk.

I have two yound children (6 yrs and 2 yrs) and we have take them to school/kindergarten everyday by walk.

Because of strike which is now for almost 2 months, we may not have driving licence to drive car during hard winter to take our kids to school/kindy and commute for jobs.

We are very much frustrated because of this situation.

So because Drivetest are on strike, we cannot manage our routine and either one have to give-up job ?

Can somebody please guide us what to do ?

Can we drive car till Drivetest on strike as we have full overseas licence?

Now what to do and where to complain ?

Sir I have a complaint for mto lakeshore scale as the mto did unjustified decision and against thus I have to file a case. Let me know how I can do this with supporting documents

I was stopped at the scale 401 east
Just outside of London and had a very hostile encounter with an office upon inspection.im 60 yrs old and have driven for 20 yrs with a completely clean license as well as a completely clean cvor .Today I went out as a helper so no log was filled by myself.We were returning from Windsor when the driver I was with became ill on the 401 so I had to move to the drivers seat . Upon this I entered a note on his inspection booked a change of driver and time of change and signed myself in at 5am .When doing this change I noticed my driver should have had an log book not inspection book due to the kms of travel .Upon arrival at inspection station mto office asked for my log book and when I handed over the inspection book he replied to me not that book what are you stupid .He ordered me to pull to land one as for my license and all my receipts from my wallet and removed them all to inside the building, he was very careful to make sure I had no money in the receipts greatly appreciated.Then did a full truck inspection that the truck passed 100%.Then I was taken inside and was badgered about the receipts that were all from the gta.He requested my personal plate number that I was not able to remember so I had to call around to three family members to verify.i was asked for last 14 days of logs ... I stated clearly that I had not worked for over a month in any trucks .Ar that point I was grilled called a liar and continued to belittled in front of other people .when further asked about my receipts I informed him that I etransfer money to my drivers and they return the paid receipts to me .And at times while driving my grandkids to school I will prepay at known stations for the guys .At this point I was informed when ever I do some for the company etransfer or prepay gas I’m on duty therefore I should have had 14 days of logs to present.Again I explained I was the helper to day not the driver until the illness took place .I was there 2.5 hrs ticketed 400 belittled call a liar .., slso I have no idea if I received all my receipts back ..also I was made to do a past 14 days logs by booking myself on duty any time an etransfer happened.., also my inspection book was not returned which the cameras will clearly show ..This man had no respect for me at all .
