Hello Have a similar question. Not sure where and how to post it. My husband is trying to get OAS. He was born in the US in 1948, went to live in Canada from Kentucky at age 14 (when his mother died). He lived, married and worked in Canada until 1996 when he returned to the US. He applied for OAS here in the US but is told Immigration Canada has no record of entry and exit dates. He is collecting his CPP but apparently that is not sufficient proof for him to collect OAS. He has traveled by plane from Canada on several occasions. Do you recommend trying to get the records of border crossing? Thank you.
