I submitted for WES my MBA transcripts in January 2012.The place of study was in Sri Lanka. And i got the transcripts posted direct.
They acknowledge receipt then they wanted again the transcripts to be sent from UK since my Degree was awarded by Uni.Of wales.
I got this too posted from UK on 23rd Feb.
Still they continue to ask for transcripts.
I personally visited the office. But cannot meet anyone except you leave a note.
They only sent mails.I am suffering for the past 5 months sending mails up and down.
Can you please tell us how to resolve issues with this evaluation service?

I am a double MBA (MBA from India & MBA from University of Wales UK) and posted all my documents to be evaluated by WES.
They send me a report stating my Indian MBA is not recognized and thus they will not evaluate my UK MBA to score.
I am very much confident that my UK University is recognized one.
As a matter of fact both are MBA degree's equivalent as per country's standards and also we would like to be aware whether our University is recognized or not as we paid to get all our documents evaluated.
I am really frustrated and stuck, please guide me how could I sort this situation and get the points that I actually deserve.

I am completely stressed and need help.
I intend to apply for immigration to Canada under the Express Entry system . However, a wrong assessment of my qualifications by WES can completely ruin my future.
I have more than 9+ years of post-qualification experience in high-profile corporates, at Higher Management position.
My qualifications (from India) are from a leading University: Bachelors in Science (Hotel Management & Tourism) : 3 years, full-time
The Canadian equivalency assessment provided on my Bachelor's Degree Certificate was reported as a "Degree from a Non-Recognized Institution" by WES.
I disagreed with this assessment and had earlier written a mail to World Education Services providing them with the resources to re-evaluate my initial assessment. In response to that I have received the following letter from World Education Services simply claiming that in their opinion my institution (Bachelor's in Science - Hotel Management & Tourism) does not have a Canadian Equivalency of a Degree from a recognized institution. To provide you with more information, I have graduated from an institution in India which was registered under the University Grants Commission of India with a "deemed university" status and the degree awarded by the university in 2008 was recognized & approved by University Grants Commission of India.
My institution was registered , approved and affiliated as a deemed university under the University Grants Commission of India at the time when I enrolled in the university in 2005 & when my degree certificate was awarded in 2008. However, It has different body governing it now. I have no other resource available to address this dispute on my credential evaluation and all my efforts (emails/web links etc. to confirm the authenticity of my credentials with World Education Services,Toronto have been overlooked by their evaluation methodology.
I am really looking forward to finding some help in resolving this dispute of my credential assessment and have made an attempt to communicate this matter to WES. I am sharing web links from the regulatory authorities in my country to verify my claim.
Please find the web link below which shows that my institution is still listed under The University Grant Commission of India.

https://www.educationobserver.com/institute_news/index.php/list-of-ugc-approved-deemed-universities-and-important-notice-about-the-validity-of-degrees-offered.htm
Also sharing the link from University Grant Commission which does not have the name of my Institution as fake.

I am very much confident that my University is a recognized one.
I am really frustrated and stuck, please guide me how could I sort this situation and get the points that I actually deserve.

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.
We can appreciate that you would be concerned about this situation.
We have contacted WES and they have provided us with the process.
Here it is:
Pre-Application Process
- Call your local agency serving immigrants and find out when a WES representative will deliver an info session and attend the info session to learn not only how to apply to WES , but also how to use your evaluation report effectively to gain recognition from employers, academic institutions and professional licensing bodies
- Check WES website http://www.wes.org/ca/info/calendar.asp regularly to learn about upcoming WES Seminars for internationally educated individuals
- Before purchasing an evaluation report, check Degree Equivalency Tool (free service) and learn about your Canadian academic equivalents at https://www.wes.org/ca/wes-tools/
Submitting Application for Evaluations
- If you still have questions about the WES evaluation application submission, submit your questions at www.wes.or/ca/contact https://www.wes.org/ca/contact-us/
- The fees are based on the two types of evaluations WES provides: basic Document-by-Document ($115 Canadian) and detailed Course-by-Course ($210 Canadian). For the distinction between the two reports, visit WES website http://www.wes.org/ca/fees/evaltypes.asphttps://www.wes.org/ca/evaluations-and-fees/other/
- ICAP service, which stores your verified academic transcripts, and send them to institutions at your request, costs an additional $35 per application.
- Submission of incomplete or incorrect documentation is the main reason your evaluation report might be delayed; we urge you to review Required Documents for your country of education (http://www.wes.org/ca/required/index.asp) and submit all the required documents.
After Receiving Your Evaluation Report
- WES is one of the very few evaluation services which has a “free” appeal process. For questions about your evaluation report, please write to (always state your WES Reference Number):
Manager Director of Evaluations World Education Services 2 Carlton Street, Suite 1400 Toronto, ON M5B 1J3 Fax: 416-972-9004 www.wes.org/ca/contact https://www.wes.org/ca/contact-us/ The WES contact center is open to answer calls and email messages from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Eastern) Monday through Friday. The center is closed on weekends. All documents must be mailed to WES. WES does NOT accept documents delivered in person. No exceptions. There is no walk-in service.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
