My question is which of the tests mentioned below do you recommend to take?
Here is the requirement:
Results of a CIC-approved third-party test at Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB/NCLC) [Note 1] level 4 or higher in speaking and listening skills done previously for immigration purposes (even expired) or done specifically for citizenship purposes, from the following list are acceptable only:
-Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program General test (CELPIP-G), (not the academic version) or
-CELPIP-General LS – a two-skills (listening and speaking) version of the CELPIP general test or
-International English Language Testing System (IELTS), general training, not the academic version

Hello,
Thanks for sharing your situation and question with us.
Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to suggest one over the other.
You may want to look at the information pertaining to each one and select the best one for you.
You can compare them here:
CELPIP - LS
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - General
Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program General test (CELPIP-G)
We hope that others can share their situation, suggestions and experiences with you.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.

Honestly the best and easiest way to have an approved English language requirement for citizenship is to send your old IELTS test " the one you sent when applied for immigration many many years ago and it is accepted even if expired "
This quote from cic website :
" either done previously for immigration purposes (acceptable even if EXPIRED) or done specifically for citizenship purposes.
