Hi,

I have applied for citizenship and like most people I was fortunate to receive an RQ in Sep.2013,

I gathered all documents I could ever think of...So what is the time frame for Scarborough centre to reply back or advise?

I had about 9 months gap since I first landed but then I returned and never left except for trips to US and short vacations.

I landed in Sep.2008 stayed for a month then left and came back in July 2009 and been here since then.

Should I contact CIC or just wait like others?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and questions with us. We can appreciate that you would be concerned about the timeline and how long this process takes.

According to several other discussion forum members, the process of submitting the residence questionnaire can take up to 24 months. Each case is different and will be processed on a case by case basis.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide a definitive response regarding how long it will take since each office processes applications on a case by case basis.

We hope that other users who may have a similar timeline can share any updates and suggestions with you.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
