I am a person with a disability. My doctor does not want me working. I am in the appeal process with the CPP Disability Pension. I am worried about the possibility of being denied again.

We need two incomes.

I do not qualify for ODSP or assistance from Ontario Works. I don't know where else to turn.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

It may be helpful if you contact the nearest Community Legal Clinic to find out if they can provide some support with your appeal process and for some information on any other options available to you.

According to the closest Community Legal Clinic's website,

At the clinic, we provide information, advice and representation to people who are having problems getting the disability benefits they are entitled to.

We can provide you with information about your legal rights. Time limits apply to your rights of objection and appeal so be sure to call us when the problem first arises.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
