Hello
I got my PR for myself and wife in Aug 2012.
After landing we went bqck home since we couldn't find a job. During this period, we got a baby.
Now I found a job in Canada and I plan to move next month (after 25 months of first entry to canada).
For my daughter, can I apply for a visit visa for her, and after landing add her to my application ?
Or else what is my other option ?
Thanks
Ahmed

Hello Ahmed and Sanjeev,
Thank you both for sharing your situations and questions with us. It sounds like you may be looking for similar information.
You can find some helpful comments and suggestions in these previous Settlement.Org How can I Sponsor my Newborn? - PR Outside Canada and Got a Visitor Visa for my Newborn - What Next? discussion threads.
To sponsor dependent children, the sponsor does not have to meet a minimum income requirement.
However, the sponsor cannot be receiving social assistance or be an undeclared bankrupt. You may also need to address in your application how your children will be able to be supported.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
