Citizenship Acknowledgement Letter-When? How Long?

i mailed my citizenship file on july13,2014 from brampton but still upto today(aug20,2014) i didnt receive any thing from citizenship office
how long it take to receive acknowledgement letter

According to the CIC Call Centre it can take several months before you receive an acknowledgement letter and before you can check your application status online.
You may want to contact the CIC Call Centre directly to confirm this information and for any additional information.
