PR Renewal on Humanitarian without Sufficient Days

my mum has been hospitalised back home and I want to go and attend to her but my PR card is valid up to Oct 2014 only and unfortunately I'm running short of 100 days to the required days for renewal
In this situation can I apply for PR renewal on Urgent basis under humanitarian grounds without sufficient days(730 days) on my application ???

We are sorry to hear about your mother's hospitalization.
It is best if you try to contact the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) Call Centre directly to find out what options are available in this situation.
You do not have to provide any identifying information in order to contact CIC.
You may also want to speak directly to a Lawyer who is familiar with Canadian Immigration issues for some assistance.
