Hi,

I'm a Canadian citizen and got married to British citizen. While she is visiting Canada, I would like to sponsor her outbound process.

Due to long waiting times, is there any way that I can get her a work permit in Canada based on my marriage/sponsorship?

No - unfortunately it's not possible to obtain a work permit based on your marriage / sponsorship. If our wife would like to work before becoming a PR, she will need to find an employer who is willing to offer her a job, that employer will have to obtain an approved LMIA, and then she will qualify for a closed work permit tied to that specific employer.
