dear madam/sir

in the application for renew my PR card they asked me to put my travel history

and i forgot the exact dates of my exit from Canada in the last 5 years
i asked the ( Canada border services agency )

about that and they provided me with all my entry dates and told me that no exit recorder were found,
and they said : ( please note that exit information is only recorded for foreign national leaving Canada at land port since June 30th,2013 )

now i am confused what i have to do to know my exit date from Canada in the last 5 years.
and if i put incorrect dates what will happen ?

please i need this information as soon as possible

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

We have had similar questions asked before. According to several CIC representatives, they suggest that it may be helpful to provide different types of proofs, they suggest that you take anything that can prove your time inside or outside Canada such:

*airline ticket stubs,
*hotel reciepts,
*rent receipts etc.

According to a CIC representative, for any type of documents/information that you are required to submit, and are unable to submit, you should include a letter outlining the steps you have taken in order to try and acquire those documents and why you have been unable to do so.

They suggest that you submit what you have and the letter stating this. They also stated that if you do this, it should be sufficient for your application.

We strongly suggest that you confirm this information by contacting the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) Call Centre directly.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.

Hello,

It is important to note that the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) are not the same. That is why we have stated that you may want to contact Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to find out what they will allow, seeing as you have already contacted the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).

As suggested above, based on information from a CIC representative, for any type of documents/information that you are required to submit, and are unable to submit, you should include a letter outlining the steps you have taken in order to try and acquire those documents/information and why you have been unable to do so.

That would mean stating that you have contacted the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and they have stated that they do not have some of the information you require. Just as you have shared with us.

Again, we strongly suggest that you confirm this information by contacting the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) Call Centre directly. This way they can provide you with some information specifically related to your situation.

You may also want to contact the nearest settlement agency found in our Services Near Me section to see if they can help you with this process and draft a letter with the details if necessary.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
