first of all thank you so much for this amazing site
in the guide of application of the sponsorship i read :
( You may NOT sponsor if you…
receive social assistance for a reason other than disability)
my question is
i am selection from Quebec ( PR in Quebec )
my friend told me that even i received social assistance in Quebec i still have the right to sponsor my wife
is this truth ?
waiting your answer that will be very important for me

If you are on social assistance / welfare for reasons other than disability, then you are disqualified from sponsoring your spouse regardless of which province you live in.

but if i fished the welfare for example this month
how many time i have to wait to have the right to sponsor my wife
