Hello,Im a canadian citizen,and my husband is
an israel citizen,i want to do a sponsorship
for him,since he currently lives in israel,and
wants to join me in toronto.
my question is,how long can it take from the moment
we complete the sponsorship request ,to the moment he
gets accepted,and how much time will it take for him
to get a immigration visa(working & staying visa).
in other words how much time does it takes to complete
the whole process of him coming here and being able
to find a job,since we dont want him to be job-less
for too long :)

1. The present processing time is 85 days in Mississauga for a complete sponsorship/application approval or refusal and 80% of applications are processed in 10 months in Tel Aviv. The forms are here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse-apply-how.asp
2. If the aponsorship and application are approved, then a COPR is issued, and once your spouse "lands" he is a permanent resident.
