Say a person arrives as "landed Immigrant" in Apr 20 / 2014 and stays in Ontario till Sept 23 2014 fulfilling the 153 day requirement in first 183 day requirement.
Then this person returns to Ontario say April 10 2015 they would still be ohip eligible as they were not absent
more than 212 days.
If they then left the province say June 15th 2015 and did not return till Dec 01 2015
What would OHIP status be at that point ?

Hello,
Thank you for sharing this question with us.
As you may know, one of the other requirements is that a person be:
[...] in Ontario for at least 153 days in any 12-month period.
According to a ServiceOntario representative, the "any 12-month period" begins the day after a person leaves Ontario.
We suggest that you contact ServiceOntario directly for some specific information and clarification.
You can contact them here:
ServiceOntario INFOline at: 1-866-532-3161 (Toll-free in Ontario only) TTY 1-800-387-5559. In Toronto, TTY 416-327-4282 Hours of operation : 8:30am - 5:00pm
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
