Hi My friend have permanent resident in Canada, he is going to married with US citizen girl who have 11 years old US Citizen Son. My friend going to apply Canada PR file within Canada after marriage for his wife and adoptive son. My friend’s wife and son wants come as a visitor and stay in Canada with him after marriage. While they live in Canada as visitor, will his adoptive son be able to attend elementary school (Grad 7) in Saskatchewan Canada without study permit for free?
If yes what are processor and require documents?
If No what are processor and fees for (Grad 7) in Canada Elementary School.

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your friend's situation and question with us.
You may need to contact the nearest school board for some information specific to this situation.
Most school boards require that if a child has been issued a visitor record by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, you must pay a tuition fee for them to attend their schools.
When you register your children at the school, they require that you bring their passports to verify their visitor status as well as their date of birth.
Your User Id indicates that you are in Regina. If your friend is also in Regina, they may want to contact the nearest school board.
You can find information on the nearest school board on the Regina Public Schools Website.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
