Family Doctor Charging Me for Appointment

Hi. I have lived in Canada my entire life. My parents have insurance from work (blue cross) and we are all covered by OHIP. I had an appointment today for a plantar wart and the past 2 weeks my doctor did a muscle test with some food in glass containers. He began to do the test again even though I was just here for my foot. At the end of my appointment (he did treat my foot) , he said $20 for the test And the wart treatment was free. Confused I didn't say anything and I went to book another appointment for my foot again. Thelady at thedeskasked if I wanted to pay today and Isaid no. Is it legal for them to charge me for a test? I'm 17 and I'm shy and I defiantly do not want to pay $20 for some stupid test that I don't even know what was going on.
