Hi, I got my study visa and i am travelling from new delhi to vancouver and staying there for 3 days before going to toronto for my studies. Is this acceptable ? I have an ongoing ticket to toronto.
Will the canadian immigration officer issue me my study permit easily at vancouver?

Hi Qwerty,

Thank you for your question.

Yes, if you are on a study visa you can enter Canada at a different location than where you plan to study. You can find more information for international students on Settlement.Org or the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website .

Alternatively, you may wish to call the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) call centre for information.

Best of luck with your studies in Canada.
