I'm with my gf since 2010 in kuwait and had an opportunity to come in canada in 2012 - while filling up forms in 2012 I didnt declare her as common law but single, honestly I dont know about it.

We came here as single in our papers.

In 2013 we applied under AINP and still we decided apply individually. In 2014 I proposed a marriage and we're palnning about it already. In May 2015 I got my nomination and submitted my PR application and unfortunately hers got refused. And we decided to get married this coming August 19 and add her afterwards in my application since my papers is still in initial stage.

If we will talking about genuineness of relationship, we have lots of proof within almost 6 years of being together but I'm worried about those application that I just put single and did not declare her. And decided to just add her after marriage in my pr application.

Is there anyone can help me whats the best way to do?

Or any opinion with my situation that can help?

Thanks

Hello Rv,

Thank you for sharing situation and question with us.

You may want to get some advice from a lawyer who is familiar with Canadian immigration issues.

You can find some information on how to find a lawyer in our our Settlement.Org How do I find a lawyer? article.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
