I have been in canada for about 9 weeks Now. I applied for the SIN the very second day I landed.I was told i will get it in 6-7 weeks. I called hundred times the toll free # 1 800 206 7218...option.3. No one takes the call ! Visited service canada 6-7 times all I get is " sorry we cant do anything about it".
what can I do??I need job.

Hi,
you should have received your SIN right away when you applied, thus making it possible to apply for a job as well.
