My husband and I sent the sponsorhip application for my mother and her dependent on June 2011.

In December 2011 and September 2013 we (the sponsors) had a child.

My Mother dependent also gave birth December 2011.

I am about to send an email to notify CIC of changes in circumstances (Births)

Questions for this forum:

1) After adding the new births do we have to do a new financial evaluation based on the year 2011 LICO, or the
most recent LICO?

2)Its my mothers dependent still consider a dependent now that she has a dependent of her own?

(They all live with my mother and she pays for all their expenses)

3) Can the application be approved for my mother only, but not her dependent?
or do they either approved/disaproved everyone?
(The dependant at the time of the application was 25 years old, has been in university since attaining the age of 22. She is now 28)

Thanks
Emm

Hello Emm,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

Yes, as you have already stated, it is very important that you notify CIC of these changes

Regarding your questions that are specific to your application, unfortunately, it is not possible for us to provide you a definitive response since we are not aware of all of the information that is specific to your application and file. You should contact the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) Call Centre directly.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
