I landed n canada in june 2015 and that time the processing time for pR card was around 40 days .. it has gone up to 90 days now.

Does anyone know why are the days increasing and will they still increase?

if the processing time is 90 , so i should expect my card within 90 days or more?

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

It is difficult for us to provide a definitive response regarding the reason why the processing time has increased.

According to a CIC representative, it generally depends on the number of applications they are processing.

According to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) Call Centre guidelines, you should contact the Call Centre if you have submitted an application from within Canada and the normal processing time for your application has passed.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
