Hello Poojen,
Thanks for sharing your questions with us.
It is great that you are looking into your options before making your permanent move to Canada.
One thing you may want to do is to visit bank or online job posting web sites for information about the skills banks and financial institutions are looking for in the people that they hire. This information will also tell you about the kind of educational background that you need to do the work.
Most occupations related to finance and investment are not regulated in legislation in Canada. However, most employers require a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, economics, or finance.
You may want to read additional information on some professions that are related to your education and experience here:
Financial and Investment Analysts
Securities Agents and Investment Dealers, Traders
Financial Managers
You may want to consider getting your international education evaluated, to see how it compares to Canadian expectations. You can find out more in this Settlement.Org Why should I get my international educational credentials evaluated? article.
You can find a list of the major Canadian Chartered Banks here:
Canadian Chartered Banks
You may also want to consider looking into loan and trust companies in Ontario:
Loan and Trust Companies
You may also want to look at the Toronto Financial Services Alliance (TFSA) for additional information.
Their "Related Sites" section has many links to other relevant associations and training/education links.
Once you move permanently, you'll want to get some help in your job search. There are many organizations that can help you to find work in your field and help you to become familiar with the Canadian job search culture. You can find out more about the job search in our Finding a Job section.
It may also be helpful to read about some of the options available to you in the community in this Why should I get help to find work? article.
Many new immigrants are having a long and difficult time getting established in their chosen occupations. It may be helpful for you to read some previous discussion threads such as this Difficulty finding a Job discussion thread.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
